NAAC has mandatory guidelines that every accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure and JSS AHER was reaccredited during 2018 with NAAC ‘A+’ grade securing 3.48 CGPA
JSS AHER through its Notification (REG/DIR(R)/IQAC/95/2013-14/2450) dated 8th November, 2013 following the XI Plan guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) for establishment of IQAC and the NAAC guidelines for establishment of IQAC formed the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at the JSS AHER
Since its inception, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of JSS AHER has been working on developing quality and monitoring performance indicators for the institution and its constituent colleges. The IQAC has been instrumental in bringing a conscious, consistent and catalytic change in all the 7 criteria as defined by NAAC. Through its regular meetings, the IQAC monitors, reviews and suggests to the University on the progress made by its constituent college/Departments on the defined action plan.
In the preceding year, the IQAC has successfully revised the Vision, Mission, Goals and the strategic plans of the constituent colleges and University and has aligned the core values of the University to be imbibed into each of its activities.
