In the department of OBG, JSS hospital we have a museum with around 30 anatomical specimens of various pathological conditions of obstetric and gynecological importance. These specimens are used for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students and are helpful in better understanding of the subject and the management of the patient. Anatomical Specimen consists of various pathologies like fibroids, ovarian cysts, uterine anomalies, normal fetus, placenta, fetusus with congenital anomalies. Students can appreciate and learn about each of the pathological condition through the description provided along with the specimen. We also have 20 colour charts describing the various important topics like various gynecological cancers and its staging, maternal pelvis and fetal skull, complicated labour management. They give a pictorial description of various topics and help in better understanding of the subject. Our museum is used for the assessment of students during their internals and during their university examination
