Dr. B. Manjunatha, a leader, an administrator, an educator and a physician by profession persistently works towards the goals, mission, vision and the organizational structure of JSS. with effective and constructive thinking and rapid decision making concerning priorities, he helps the Deemed to be University not only to adapt to changes but to accommodate innovation. He consults all the stake holders before making a decisions; it makes academic and professional staff feel involved, which cements their commitment to the organization. Strategic vision combined with professional skills, expertise in resource management and credibility with the academic and research community, Dr. B. Manjunatha guides JSS as a Transformational Leader.

Dr. B. Manjunatha, Registrar, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysore is a confident and enthusiastic leader who believes in the importance of communication and working cooperatively to build positive relationships with staff and students. Key experience

  • Teaching the subject of Forensic Medicine to undergraduate & Postgraduate (MBBS) medical students.
  • Designing teaching curriculum for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Evaluation of undergraduate / postgraduate medical students.
  • Conducting Medico-legal Autopsy for the description and interpretation of the findings and opining as to the cause of death.
  • Visiting the scene of occurrence / crime, for examination and collection of trace evidence and other evidentiary material for investigation.
  • Description, interpretation and opinion on Histopathological slides, mounted specimens, photographs and radiographs of medico-legal importance

Objective Statement

  • To create awareness regarding medical negligence and prevention of the same among the budding doctors.
  • Train the undergraduate students to perform basic medicolegal procedures.
  • Preparing the future medicolegal experts regarding facing defence lawyers during cross examination while appearing as Expert witness in the courts of law.
