The college offers a comprehensive package of pharmacy education and training opportunities beginning with the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), B.Pharm (Practice) ,Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.), Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in 10 different specialties and Doctoral (Ph.D.) programs and Residency Program in Oncology, Nephrology & Infectious Diseases. There are many programs which are first of its kind in India. Diploma and certificate programs (more than 12 Nos.) are also offered to the students as add-on to the regular programs. The college houses some of the nation`s recognized researchers and impart education to some of the brightest students nationally and internationally.

Our holistic approach and academic excellence are apparent by perception score (100%) in NIRF Ranking. We are presently ranked as the top 8th pharmacy college in the country (by NIRF, MHRD, Govt. of India) and have consistently retained in the top 10 positions in NIRF ranking for the last 7 years (2016-2022 ).

The college is well connected with national and international organisations and universities through strategic MoUs which has enabled free flow of ideas, knowledge sharing, student & faculty exchange. It has also attracted grants for various research activities which are creating social impact.

We are a renowned leader in pharmaceutical education, research and practice. This benchmarking has been recognized nationally in the form of accreditation by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), India. As a part of global recognition, the Pharm.D. Program has been certified by Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), USA. We remain committed to providing our students with the best education possible in a setting where every student matters.

The faculty members are committed to carry out quality research with ethical practices & publish their research findings in peer reviewed journals with impact factor. The mantra of our college Research coordination cell is "Interdisciplinary Research". The faculty work very closely with the other faculty from medical, dental, life science, Ayurveda and Engineering colleges. As an outcome of these interdisciplinary research, we have 3 Special interest Groups (SIGS) from our college.viz., "3D printing in Healthcare", "Quality and safe use of medicine", "Brain, behavior and cognitive neuroscience research".

The college has state of the art central animal facility to carry out preclinical testing of drugs.

It has Drug Testing Laboratory which is approved by Govt. of Karnataka and is NABL accredited.

Through these facilities, we do consultancy services which provides hands on experience to the students and research scholars.

The college is supported by 1800 bedded super specialty JSS Hospital, Mysuru for its clinical postings. Also, as institutional social responsibility, we render pharmacy practices services to Narayana Hrudayala, Columbia Asia, Asha Kirana Hospital & Bharat Cancer Hospital.

College has vibrant Training and Placement Cell (T&P Cell) which organises campus drive annually. Large pool of Pharmaceutical Companies, Contract Research Organisations participate in this drive. We actively seek students who best personify our core values - Innovation, Leadership, Excellence, Integrity, Respect and Professionalism. The T&P Cell also supports students for their higher studies within India or abroad, take up competitive exams and hand hold them to become Entrepreneurs.

During COVID pandemic lockdown, the college has introduced Augmented reality and Virtual reality (AR-VR) training modules for imparting VIRTUAL Training of Pharma industry modules.

TECSOK, Technology services organization of Karnataka has sanctioned "Centre of Excellence for Entrepreneurship Development" is established in the college which have committed to develop entrepreneurs in the area of Pharma and Medical Devices.

ICT (Information Communication and Technology) and innovative pedagogy are integral part of quality education. Effective use of ICT enables educators to involve all the students in the process of learning. We are dedicated to implement latest tools and techniques to deliver quality education. In this direction, the college uses its own "Learning Management system (LMS)" which is very successful. This has enabled the students to be a part of the education process beyond the classrooms.

The college has strong Alumni Association which organizes Alumni Meet every second Saturday of August in the college. It has also started Alumni Association Middle East chapter, US Chapter where they meet, greet and organize purposeful activities. One of the important reasons for college to enjoy greater reputation and branding is because of our strong Alumni network.
