Dr. Bhaskar Balakrishnan has been an Indian diplomat for 33 years and served as Ambassador of India to Greece and Cuba. He has worked in several countries in Africa, Europe and Middle East and for over ten years with various UN organizations in Geneva and Vienna. He set up and headed the Investment & Technology Promotion Division of the Ministry of External Affairs concerned with promotion of foreign investment and technology flows. He was educated at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, Delhi University, and Ph.D from Stonybrook University, New York, USA.

Professor Iqbal Ramzan is Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at The University of Sydney’s Faculty of Pharmacy, having recently stepped down as Dean after 12 years (2006-2017). Professor Ramzan is a recognised expert in drug pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, has published 150 refereed papers and has provided high level advice to the Australian Government on drug registration. Professor Ramzan is an international leader in Pharmacy education and is a Past-President of the Asian Association of Schools of Pharmacy and the Council of Pharmacy Schools – Australia and New Zealand. Professor Ramzan is Vice-President of the Australian Pharmacy Council. He is a Pharmacist and holds a Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
