The College has well equipped laboratories in basic sciences and pharmacy so that students can understand effectively, what they have learnt in the classrooms. Experiments are designed so that the basic concepts are well understand by the students. Advanced experiments in the laboratories, help the students to get an insight into the new frontiers of pharmacy and allied sciences.
The computer laboratory of the college is well equipped with the latest computers. The college laboratory has equipments used in the pharmaceutical industries at different stages of production, quality control and packing. Tabletting machines, coating and polishing pans, bottle filling machines, and Q.C. instruments like FTIR, DSC, Gas Chromatography, friability tester, Disintegration and Dissolution test apparatus, U.V. visible spectrophotometer, HPLC (shimadzu) with U.V.-Florescence detector, deep freezer are some of the important ones, apart from other modern and sophisticated machines and instructions to update the facilities.
The institution has well equipped research lab with equipments and Instruments like Malvern Zetasizer, Shimadzu HPLC, Shimadzu UV-visible Spectrophotometer, Electrolab six basket dissolution apparatus with Autosampler, Brooke field’s Viscometer, Research centrifuge., Electrolab Tab Density Tester, Shimadzu high sensitivity digital balance., Gel electrophoresis, Rotary tablet press, colloid mill, Fluidised Bed Drier, Planetary Mixer, computers etc.
An auditorium cum multipurpose hall with about 500 seating capacity is available in the campus. This facility is being used for various functions and meetings as well as indoor games. Campus recruitment activities are also conducted here.
In recognition of the need and importance of internet in the field of education, CPM campus is a fully WIFI-enabled campus. This facility allows students to access uninterrupted internet connectivity anywhere within the campus Including Boys and Girls Hostel.
One extension counter of State Bank of India Facility are available for the students to help them in financial transactions.
The college has a Diesel Generator to provide power supply to the Department and Laboratories in times of power supply failure.

Laboratory Profile JSS Drug Testing Laboratory (JSSDTL) is a unit of JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore established in the year 2012. The lab is well equipped to carry out the tests on Drugs & Pharmaceuticals, APIs and intermediates used in manufacture of all scheduled drugs including C and C1, Vitamins, Antibiotics, Cosmetics etc.

The JSS DTL is approved by Drugs Control department, Government of Karnataka, vide order no. KTK/37/28/2011 dated 17/09/2012 as per Form 37.

The institution has a good library housed on the 1st floor of the college building total area of 674.94 sq. mts. The four sections in the library are lending, reference, digital library, and reading sections. 150 students can study in the library at a time. The library is the brain of our institution, which is the storage of information, meeting emerging educational needs. It encourages and supports the process of self-learning.
The library is fully automated. Books are bar coded and classified as per Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC). All the transactions (Issue/Return/Renewal) are fully computerized through KOHA library automation software. The library information sources (books, journals, CDs etc.) are barcoded. An Online public access catalog (OPAC) of the library’s collection is provided in the library.
The library has a well-developed and systematic policy for the collection and development of learning resources. The comprehensive collection comprises both traditional resources – books and journals in print and electronic resources – the CD ROMs, videos, slides, online journals etc. The book collection of about 13000 volumes, comprises books on pharmaceutical sciences and allied sciences. A modest collection of books for competitive exams is maintained. A user can relax with the library’s general collection of biographies, fiction, philosophy etc.

JSS College of Pharmacy Boys hostel and Girls Hostel are located within the college main building, it is an affordable, homely and safe accommodation for students.
The hostels have spacious and airy building with well-furnished rooms and well-organized dining hall, common room and wi-fi facility. The common room is well equipped with recreational facilities like table-tennis, carrom-board, chessboard, LED TV, newspapers and magazines. Running hot and cold water is available round the clock in the hostel.
The residents of JSS Boys hostel and Girls hostel have always demonstrated the ethos of dedication, sincerity and care. The hostel inculcates a spirit of co-operation and respect for different cultures in the residents as they come from diverse cultures. As a part of extended family of the college fraternity, JSS Pharmacy College hostels adds a dimension of vigour and commitment to the academic and extracurricular ambience of the institution. While providing an opportunity of campus living, JSS Pharmacy hostels looks forward to residents to shoulder and maintain the best traditions of the college as a whole.
Hostel affairs are co-ordinated under the guidance and supervision of the resident warden. The warden is assisted by other supporting staff, The hostel committee under the chairmanship of the Principal frames the rules and regulations of the hostel and is the final authority in matters concerning the hostel.
Students have exclusive hostels for men and women with spacious, comfortable, well-furnished rooms with all modern amenities, hygienic kitchens, nutritious food, and a 24-hour security system at any/all JSSU colleges. Students wishing to stay in these hostels are advised to apply in the prescribed forms. The campus has a bank and an ATM kiosk, plus a post office and a healthcare clinic. Leisure time spaces such as reading and television lounges are also available.
