JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru, in its vision, has envisaged its efforts to advance and achieve better health outcomes for vulnerable populations and communities regionally, nationally, and around the world.

With the mission of serving the public, bringing about significant local improvements in the health and well-being of people, and developing models that may be applied globally, JSSAHER's School of Public Health was founded.

Also, the school wants to research Public Health concerns prominent in the global environment, such as epidemics of recently discovered and rediscovered infectious diseases, global trade, the rise in chronic illnesses, and the development of a future workforce. In order to do this, our strategy focuses on giving public health experts strong leadership and research abilities.

The significant drivers of JSS AHER have been 'Quality' and 'Excellence,' which has helped it position as one of the most respected institutions in a short span of 10 years, as evidenced by its significant accomplishments in benchmarking domestic and global ranking and accrediting agencies. The school and its graduates are now geared up to face the world and help prevent disease, promote health, and prolong life among the population.
