Coordination and implementation of Youth for Governance fellowship.


Institute of Public Health (IPH), Bengaluru

  • To work jointly in developing and implementing research, including but not limited to research on health services, public policy, health equity especially with tribal communities, comprehensive primary health care, non-communicable diseases, and other key elements of health for all and universal health coverage.
  • To seek opportunities where the skills and expertise of the parties can be beneficially combined, including where either party is approached to participate in academic research by an external third party.
  • To work jointly to develop training and courses that would be jointly certified in relevant competencies required for public health professionals and students at JSSAHER and IPH.
  • To enable faculty through empanelment to participate in teaching as guest lecturers and as Ph.D. guides or co-guides for Ph.D. students to utilize expertise across the two partners
    • To enable students in the Ph.D. by research program at IPH to obtain the degree from JSSAHER in accordance with its existing rules and regulations including payment of required fees. JSSAHER recognises IPH as a centre for conducting the Ph.D. program.
  • To enable internship training by providing internship opportunites at IPH.

Piramal Swasthya

  • Collaborative research, including but not limited to research on health services, public policy, health equity especially with tribal communities, comprehensive primary health care, non-communicable diseases, neglected tropical diseases and other key elements of health for all and universal health coverage.
  • To provide internship opportunities for postgraduate students from JSSAHER pursuing MPH, under various projects of Piramal Swasthya.
  • Possible employment opportunities for MPH Students on the completion of their course, provided there is a vacancy, and the candidate is suitable for the role. The candidates must go through the regular interview process.
  • To work jointly to develop training and modules that would jointly be certified in relevant competencies required for public health professionals and front-line workers.
  • To enable the consultants and public health professionals at Piramal Swasthya through empanelment to be involved as guest lecturers and deliver guest lectures for PGs and MPH students in JSSAHER.
