Faculty and administrators are encouraged to collaborate internationally to advance JSS AHER’s goal of integrating global perspectives into the university’s academic and research mission. The Global engagement section facilitates the process of global partnership development for all university-wide collaborations by establishing Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) or agreements with institutions inside and outside of India.
When considering or developing a new national/global partnership or initiative, the Section of Global Engagement will be able to assist you to develop a plan for establishing the partnership, a business plan for the initiative, and to work through the process of internal review and approvals. Proposals for international collaboration agreements should meet JSS AHER’s policies and procedures.
Memoranda of Understanding which indicate a general interest in collaboration within often still undetermined areas of activity. Such MOU usually precede a more detailed exchange or activity agreement.
Student Exchange Agreements in which two or more institutions agree to a reciprocal exchange of students for semester or year-long study.
Activity Agreements that articulate the details of specific areas and activities of collaboration among the parties. These include articulation agreements that allow students to complete a program of study at JSS AHER that they began elsewhere; agreements to host visiting scholars and/or interns; faculty exchanges; agreements to offer training/degree programs abroad; and, many other possibilities.
