A Brief

The College has an exclusive library with 44931 collections covering all the branches of Medical Science like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, OBG, Anesthesia, ENT, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Neurology, Nephrology, Urology, Radiology, Dermatology, and general books. The library resources include a good collection of prescribed reference books, textbooks, recommended books, reference works like encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks, directories, data books etc., journals back volumes, WHO-technical reports, project reports etc., The library subscribes to 256 national and international journals, and has a fairly good collection of back volumes for reference and research works, project reports and dissertations.

Library being one of the very important organs of educational system is the center of all activities in the campus. Situated in an easily accessible place, it covers 3206 sq mts. With 638 seating capacity, and occupies Seven sections namely the reference, lending, journal, book bank, News Paper, office/technical section and digital section.

JSS Hospital library is an extension of Central/Main Library, which was established for ready/immediate reference.
