The Department of Radio diagnosis was established in the year 1986 and has considerably evolved in terms of technology and services.
The Department is equipped with some of the most advanced state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment in the state. It has distinguished Faculty of repute trained in various subspecialties and runs Post Graduate Degree/Diploma & Medical Imaging Technology Courses. Extremely high academic standards are maintained with stringent teaching and hands on training schedule.
Services Offered: Digital X-Ray, Ultrasound Scanning with high-end scanners, Colour Doppler, Digital Fluoroscopy, Mammography, high-end DSA, 128 slice CT scan & 3 Tesla MRI, CT and Ultrasound guided procedures, Portable X - ray, Ultrasound & colour Doppler for bed side studies. All modalities are connected to a high end PACS System and are available round the clock.
Departmental has exclusive educational website Radiology_Teaching_Files that has reached out to more than 150 countries and is one of the recommended sites for Radiology education.
