About the Division
Established in 2014, the Division of Biochemistry at JSS AHER has developed into a focused academic unit with growing research activity and student strength. The Division offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs, aligned with current educational frameworks including NEP 2020.
The Division is supported by a team of seven full-time faculty members, all Ph.D. holders and recognized research guides. The faculty bring a mix of national research experience and international exposure, with three members having postdoctoral or academic experience abroad.
The academic approach emphasizes strong conceptual understanding, practical laboratory training, and early exposure to research, preparing students for competitive exams, higher education, and employment in scientific sectors.
