Eligibility Rules
- Only bonafide, full-time students who are enrolled in a degree, postgraduate degree, or diploma course of a minimum duration of one academic year, and whose examination is conducted by the university or college affiliated to a university after passing the 12th class examination, are eligible to participate.
- Students of open universities shall be considered bonafide students and will be eligible to participate provided they fulfil the other conditions.
- Only students who are less than 25 years of age on the 1st of July of the current academic year can participate. There is no minimum age for participation.
- A student shall not be allowed to represent more than one university during a single academic year.
- Provisional admission to a course at a university or college shall not make a student eligible to represent that university.
- A student employed on a full-time basis shall not be eligible to participate.
- In the case of a student migrating from one university to another, the migration will be considered eligible only after the admission in the new university is regularized and the student is admitted as a bonafide student by the new university.
- AIU subscription fee is mandatory for participation in AIU Youth Affairs programmes by universities/institutions.
