Internal Complaints Committee
The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 was enacted to ensure safe working spaces for women and to build enabling work environments that respect women’s right to equality of status and opportunity by Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. In this regard an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is formed at JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty for the effective implementation of the act to realization of the rights to gender equality, life and liberty, equality and dignity at the work place. The key elements of the of ICC is to implement and meet the standards such as: Prohibition, Prevention and Redress of sexual harassment of women at workplace.
