The department has all the facilities and infrastructure to carryout practical classes to advanced research. Facilities like Buchi Flash Rotary Evaporator, Olympus trinocular microscope, Serological water bath, Cooling centrifuge, and advance facilities like Combiflash chromatography Hematology Analyzer are some of the instruments used for extraction, isolation, screening and standardization of the herbal drugs. Department has three spacious laboratories viz Pharmacognosy undergraduate lab, Pharmacognosy Post graduate and research laboratory and Microbiology lab which caters the needs of the practical classes and research.

The establishment of an herbal garden spanning 100 x 50 square feet in JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru premises is an exciting and enriching addition to the campus. This garden, integrated into the curriculum, offers a unique blend of education, wellness, and environmental stewardship.
