Context
This study developed and evaluated an experiential teaching model which aimed to improve identification skill and understanding of medicinal plants and recollect the chemical constituents and medicinal uses of herbal drugs.
Objectives of Practice

The Practice
During the practical class the students were taken to the herbal garden by the subject teacher. At the end of the visit the student have to write a written report or give an oral report to share what they have learned.
Impact of Practice
Practice experiential teachings has significantly improved the identification skill of the students and are able to recollect the chemical constituents and medicinal uses of medicinal plants.
