To cope up with modern technology & science and use my knowledge I have acquired during the years to make myself a deserving candidate in the field of Medical Physics education. Being experienced in the field of Radiotherapy my main objective is to dedicate my candidature up to the expectation of the organisation and well being of the student generations to come.

Presently Dr. Shanmukhappa B Kaginelli working as  an  Professor in the School of Life Sciences (Medical Physics) JSS AHER, Mysuru. He is the senior Medical Physicist / RSO (Radiotherapy) by profession having moderate teaching experience. He has aquired the Degree  PG Diploma in Radiological Physics (Dip.R.P.) with prestigious Indian Research Centre at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre(BARC), Mumbai after his M.Sc. (Physics).

Then he had the Doctor of Philosopy (Ph.D.) Radiation Physics by Gulbarga University, Gulbarga. He is having the  18 years experience as Medical Physicist cum Radiological Safety Officer (AERB Certified) in Dept. of Radiotherapy, 3 years of experience in Gamma Radiation Sterilization plant & 6 years of Medical Physicist/ Associate Professor cum Radiological Safety Officer in Dept. of Radiotherapy / Radiology (AERB Certified).

He has having 23 publications, he attended National & international conferencess on Medical Physics and presented many papers

He is the awardee of  'Meritorious Physicist ' , Best oral Presentations in Kannada Vijnana Sammelana, Best Paper Presentaion award in National Conference

He has hounerd the Dr. Sanjay Supe Oration Award  Association of Medical Physicist India-Karnataka Chapter in 2025 

He is the  Coordinator for  M.Sc. Medical Physics Course

Presently Guiding for Five PhD Students & Three are awarded

Dosimetric Analysis with different modalities of Linear Accelarators, Cobalt Teletherapy and Brachy Therapy Units with different dosimeters like TLD, Semiconuctor Dosimeters, Ion Chambers etc.. Similarly Qualitatitve analyses of the different treating unit and their Safety measurements. Qualitative study Diagnostic X-Ray Machines.

Abisarooba Iswarya is Currently Working as a Assistant Professor at JSS Academy Of Higher Education & Research Mysore. She Completed her  M.Sc in Medical Physics from Dr.N.G.P Arts and Science College Coimbatore.she Handles the Classes for PG Medical Physics Programmes.Her Area of Research Radiation Dosimetry and Treatment Planning.

Khansa Fathima is currently Working as an Assistant professor at JSS Academy of Higher Education And Research Mysore. She handles the classes for PG MEDICAL PHYSICS program

 She also Handles the classes for UG MEDICAL IMAGING TECHNOLOGY program At JSS Hospital 

Her Area of research involves Brachytherapy treatment planning and Dosimetry in LINAC Equipment and its QA
