SSC Guidelines

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, SSC is currently offering all sessions online and will not conduct in-person sessions until further notice.

For appointments and any queries, please contact us via phone or e-mail and refrain from coming to the center. If you need to come to the center due to exigent circumstances, please ensure that you are wearing a mask and that you sanitize your hands as soon as you enter the premises.

Failure to follow these precautions and/or threatening or endangering those present at the center will be considered reasonable grounds for restricting access to our services to you.


SSC is not an emergency service provider

Student Support Center provides personal counseling, psychotherapy, group therapy, and psychiatric services for JSS AHER Students. (Students in the Medical School, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and School of Health Professions.

Every session is for a maximum period of 30-40 minutes.

After each session, your therapist will fix your next appointment on a date that is suitable for both of you. Depending on the progress of therapy, the frequency is gradually decreased.

If you wish to visit SSC again after therapy has been terminated or after a prolonged period, you can visit office time.

SSC services are exclusively for students of JSS HER. Therefore, they cannot continue after you have completed your course. Therapy will be terminated upon course completion if it hasn’t been earlier, and appropriate referrals will be provided if required.
