INTRODUCTORY PHARMACY PRACTICE EXPERIENCE (IPPE)

Community Postings for Pharm.D Students

JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru has signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with 12 community pharmacies in Mysuru for the educational exposure to Pharm.D students and also to orient and train practicing pharmacists in patient care activities. Pharm.D. students of IPPE (2nd to 4th Pharm.D) are posted to work in these community pharmacies to gain real time experience in patient care services in the community settings.

Simulation

As a means of improving curricular delivery, simulations activities such as medication history interview, medication dispensing and counseling, health screening, IV admixtures, dose division and medication therapy management are conducting for IPPE students. A simulation lab was designed with all the necessary video and audio systems for recording the simulation activities.
