JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research has been identified as Centre for Clinical Research Excellence (CCRE) by Clinical Development Services Agency (CDSA), Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. Department of Clinical Pharmacy, JSS Hospital, Mysuru has been coordinating several multinational sponsored clinical trials of different therapeutic categories of various phases of clinical studies. Staff and students of Department are actively involved in conduct of Sponsored Clinical Trials at JSS Hospital starting from initiation of site to closure of trial. Till date, Department has coordinated more than 60 clinical trials and currently 10 trials are being coordinated.
