Dr. Vinaya Rani. G has joined Centre of Clinical Research Excellence, a Government of India CDSA sponsored Centre at JSS University as Clinical Research Investigator on Oct 2017 at JSS Hospital. She has 7 years of research experience in the field of Biotechnology. In her last assignment, she was DST Women Scientist-A (DST WOS-A) at Department of Biotechnology, University of Mysore, Mysuru (2014-2017). She is the recipient of Department of Science and Technology Women Scientist-A Project [No-SR/WOS-A/LS-104/2013 (G)] in 2014 for her PhD, registered in Biotechnology, under University of Mysore, Mysuru. She has several publications in peer reviewed national and international journals of repute.
She has worked for one year as Clinical Research Associate in Quintiles Pvt India Ltd, Clinical Research Organization. And two years as CRC in Vikram Hospital, Mysuru (2007-2009). She completed her M.Sc and M.Phil with Distinction from University of Mysuru, Mysuru. She is currently working on studying the health outcomes in geriatric population, coordinating all clinical trials at JSS Hospital and also helping to conduct ICH-GCP compliant clinical research in JSS hospital. She has completed many clinical trials at site level and coordinated with different audits and inspections from DCGI and Sponsors of clinical trials. Also working as Research Officer in many Vaccine, device and medicine (drug) clinical trials. She strongly thrives for getting funded projects and believes in advancing herself through quality research outputs.
