About University Education Unit

Our institution's university education section has been working toward educational excellence since its founding in 2023. Education units for the School of Life Sciences in Mysuru, Life Sciences Departments, and Department of Health System Management were established under CCLPE, JSS AHER, Mysuru, following the formation of Medical, Pharmacy, and Dental educational units.

To grow into a centre offering leadership in education at the undergraduate, graduate, and continuing professional development levels.
To improve education by creating knowledge and programs that are suited to the demands of the sector.
To become a reputable centre for educational research in order to promote teaching, learning, assessment, and evaluation.
To increase management and life science education capability and create a network of local and national educators.

Objectives

To organize an annual schedule of events; To instruct professors in cutting-edge teaching and learning techniques; To regularly inform professors on the shifting trends in professional education.
To aid our institution in decision-making, quality control, program evaluation, and curriculum creation.
Provide academic interaction at a multidisciplinary level.
Establish and strengthen collaboration with other reputable colleges and universities for the exchange of knowledge and expertise in professional education.
Coordinate with CCLPE of JSSAHER in its activities; be in charge of all educational processes; ensure continuous quality improvement in teaching, learning, and assessment in professional education.
Plan, implement and evaluate curriculum and faculty development programmes in the college.
Promote educational research through projects, publications of research, PhD courses, and other brief certificate programs.
Contribute to the formulation of policies, the development of a feedback system, programming evaluation, and the dissemination of humanities and communication skills.
To create and implement instructional design for courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Aims as defined by CCLPE

Raise instructors' awareness of novel ideas in instruction and evaluation techniques.
Acquire the information and abilities needed to be an excellent researcher, administrator, teacher, and mentor.
Assist educators in developing their behavioural and communication skills.
Refresh knowledge with the use of contemporary information and research approach tools.

UEU Family

Staff from a wide range of specialties who have a specialized interest in education make up the University Education Unit. The unit's staff members organize and oversee programs for student mentoring and welfare at all levels. Unit provides direction and faculty development, assures curriculum delivery and assessment, and operates under supportive administration and motivating leadership. Numerous members actively promote research, serve as counsellors to regulatory agencies, and quality assurance.
