Department of Physiology
Our department of human physiology was established in the year 1984 as a preclinical department in JSS Medical College, Mysuru.

Human physiology forms a vital pivot of the curriculum for the majority of UG and PG programmes offered by different faculties of health sciences. We provide comprehensive and strong basic foundation that will prepare the students for careers in medicine, allied health science and biomedical research.
We are a team of 12 committed faculties carrying out teaching with innovative techniques. We believe and carry out translational collaborative research. We also contribute to the governance of the institution by being part of various committees and extension activities.
