Department of Cardiac Anesthesiology
The Department of Cardiac Anesthesiology at JSS Hospital has been an integral part of the Institute from the beginning of the new hospital. It is committed to excellence in anesthesia and perioperative care, educational activities, faculty development, and cutting-edge research. The Department is equipped with the latest technology devices for patient care, which include modern anesthesia machines, gadgets for managing the difficult airway, vital parameter monitors, ventilators, transesophageal echocardiography machines, heart-lung machines, IABP, ECMO, and many others. The strength of the department lies in its strong team comprising experienced faculty members, residents, and efficient paramedical staff. We provide anaesthesia services to patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery as well as patients undergoing various procedures in the cath lab. We also Provide critical care services to CTVS ICU and CCU.
