It is my pleasure to welcome you to this 10th anniversary Symposium on Impactful Education and Sustainable Development Goals. For the past decade, Howard University has been a partner in a unique and successful collaboration with the JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research. Through this partnership, we have exchanged students, conducted seminars and workshops, strengthened curricula, conducted leadership visits, and expanded other opportunities for collaborative engagement. This academic year, the Ralph J. Bunche International Affairs Center at Howard University has also selected India as the focus of its annual series. This symposium provides a unique opportunity to highlight the special ten-year partnership between the Howard University and the JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research.

It is our hope that through this symposium we can continue to expand our relationship in a variety of academic areas, and set the course for the strengthening of our partnership. For this reason, we have invited colleagues from across both institutions to contribute to this meaningful symposium.
