Master of Public Health (MPH) students (Group 5) from the School of Public Health organized an awareness program for visually impaired students and staff at the Government School for Blind, Tilak Nagar, Mysuru, on 14th February 2025. The initiative aimed to create an engaging and enriching experience by incorporating interactive activities designed to enhance cognitive and social skills. The session included stimulating activities to encourage participation and learning in a fun, supportive environment. Additionally, MPH students conducted an informative session on various government schemes and welfare programs available for visually impaired individuals. They provided insights into policies that support accessibility, education, and employment opportunities, fostering awareness and empowerment among the participants. The program emphasized inclusivity, self-reliance, and community support, ensuring that visually impaired students gained valuable knowledge to navigate their daily lives more effectively. This initiative reflected a commitment to promoting a more inclusive and supportive society.
