The Upskilling and Certification Program on “Pharmacovigilance Case Processing Using Software Including AI Tools”

This 30-hour training course spread across 5 days is being organized under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 4.0 scheme. The Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC) under the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in collaboration with the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) offers this training program with the aim of upskilling professionals and eligible students in advanced pharmacovigilance techniques.

Dr. P Kanagambal, Asst Prof and Head, Dept of History, Govt Arts College, Ooty formally inaugurated the program and delivered the Chief guest address.

About 40 participants have been registered after the successful pre-test and will be certified based on the comprehensive assessment by the external experts. This program will be conducted in different phases, batchwise, to train about 250 professionals.
