Induction programme for the newly joined 250 first year MBBS students of 2023-24 Batch of JSS Medical College was held on 8th September 2023 at Sri Rajendra Auditorium, JSS Medical College Mysuru.

Dr.Pushpalatha K., Co convener of Medical Education Unit welcomed the gathering. Dr.Arun M., Convener administered Maharshi Charak shapath to newly inducted students. Chief Guest of the program Dr.M.R.Seetharam, Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon, SVYM released Academic Calender. Dr.Manjunatha B., Registrar, JSSAHER and Dr.H.Basavana Gowdappa, Principal, JSS Medical College addressed the students and parents. Dr.Surinder Singh, Vice Chancellor, JSSAHER delivered presidential address. Dr.Vishal Kumar Gupta, Dean Academics, Dr.C.P.Madhu, Medical Superintendent & Incharge Director, JSS Hospital, Dr.Suma M.N., Vice Principal (Pre Clinical) Dr.Praveen Kulkarni, Vice Principal (Para Clinical), Dr.Manthappa M., Vice Principal (Clinical), Sri S.R.Sathish Chandra, Administrative Officer, JSS Medical College, University officers, HODs of various departments, faculty members were present on the occasion. There were sessions on Introduction to JSS AHER, JSS Medical College, JSS Hospital, MBBS Programme, Responsibilities of Parents, Assessment pattern and Mentorship.

HODs of all the phase I and Community Medicine Departments introduced their faculty members to the students.
