The Department of Water and Health (DW&H) has an excellent facilities and environment that supports to incubation of academic and research zeal in the student community. The DW&H is located in the prime location of JSSAHER campus surrounded by green and heritage excel with free Wi-Fi, cafeteria, bicycle, digital library, health care centre, post office, bank, ATM, telecommunication and other student friendly services.
The DW&H is endowed with excellent infrastructure for environmental management and natural sciences research. The DW&H has well equipped advanced facilities for water & soil quality analysis, environmental radiation analysis, environmental data processing & analysis, catalysis preparation and demonstration, environmental modeling and impact assessment.
The Department of Water & Health, JSSAHER has a well-established library which plays an important role in the academic and research excellence of the students. The DW&H library supports the undergraduate and postgraduate programs by providing information resources through hardbound reading materials as well as electronic materials in digital platforms. The library has good collections of text books, reference books, new arrivals and editions, journals, periodic, encyclopedia, etc. The library provides information regarding current affairs, employment news, general knowledge, awareness service, etc for the students and also facilitates of India’s leading newspapers, magazines, question paper repository, journal and dictionaries along with e-journals and e-book for reference purposes.
The DW&H has high speed internet facilities with free Wi-Fi enabled with advanced audio-visual enabled class rooms. The DW&H has common digital library/laboratory with good number of latest computers loaded with advanced software, study materials, visual studios and scientific tools which enable the students to gain latest skills and advancement in their learning and research. The DW&H has separate boys and girls hostel with well furnished rooms, mess with hygienic and nutritious food and 24/7 security with CC TV surveillance.
