Goals

Modern dentistry involves the use of newer imaging systems especially three-dimensional imaging for dental applications.
This program intends to motivate and sensitize dental house surgeons/undergraduates regarding the appropriate use of CBCT. The course will consist of lectures that will include in-depth deliberation of CBCT principles and technology. In addition, radiographic anatomy, pathology, and ethical considerations in three-dimensional imaging will be elaborated.
Enrolling helps the students inculcate deep interest which shall motivate them to join higher studies, especially Oral Medicine and Radiology, and help them choose carrier options. This provides a great opportunity to have 3D imaging knowledge before completing their undergraduate course which shall boost the confidence of BDS students in JSS.
