B.Sc Forensic Sciences
The students learn about forensic science concepts and legal aspects which include society, investigation in crime, criminal laws, dermatoglyphics, IPC, CRPC, articles of constitutions, investigating various types of injuries, various tools and techniques in forensic science.
The courses in the program are :
Introduction to Forensic Science, Forensic Dermatoglyphics, Criminal Law, Crime and Society, Criminalistics, Technological Methods in Forensic Science, Questioned Documents, Forensic Chemistry and Physics, Forensic Medicine, Forensic Biology & Serology along with basic sciences like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology and Pharmacology.
10 + 2 with Science Subjects (Physics, Chemistry Biology should be studied)
Work as forensic science specialist in government and private agencies, academics and research.

I have 26 years of experience in teaching and evaluation in the field of Criminology and Forensic Science. i have served as a resource person in areas such as:
Chief Guest and delivered the Key Note Address while Inaugurating the National Level Workshop on “Forensic Speaker Identification” hosted by All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore.
Acted as Resource Person on Scientific Investigation and Vigilance at Administrative Training Institute, Government of Karnataka, Mysore for the Excise Dept. on 04-02-2009 and for Lokayuktha Police 12-03-2009.
Acted as Resource Person on “Investigation of Vigilance Cases” at the Administrative Training Institute, Mysore, (Depatment of DPAR, Govt. of Karnataka) for the State Excise and Commercial Taxes Departmeent, on behalf of Karnataka Lokayukta.
Acted as a Resource person at the Administrative Training Institute, Mysore, (Depatment of DPAR, Govt. of Karnataka) for the department of Mines and Geology probationary Geologists and the Department of Factories and Boilers Assistant Directors and the Gazetted Probationers of the Secretrait, Govt of Karnataka’s Foundational Training programme on topic “Law and Order” with special emphasis on IPC, Cr.P.C., K.P Act, on 03/04/2010.
Acted as a Resource person at the Administrative Training Institute, Mysore, (Depatment of DPAR, Govt. of Karnataka) for the and delivered a interactive lecture on “Police and Prison Administration in Karnataka State” for the Gazetted Probationers of Bihar State (Bihar Administrative Service) undergoing training here on 18/02.2012.
Kerala Police Academy, Thrissur. I have acted as a Resource person for the IMG Training Programme on ‘Investigation of Cyber Crime’ and delivered lectures on ”Cyber Crimes, Cyber Forensics, Cyber Offences and Jurisdiction & Investigation procedures of Cyber Crimes” on 13th and 14th August, 2008.
Acted as a Resource person for the Bureau of Police Research and Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India on “Investigation of Cyber Crimes by applying the Information Technology (Amended) Act 2008.”
