The students learn about forensic science concepts and legal aspects which include society, investigation in crime, criminal laws, dermatoglyphics, IPC, CRPC, articles of constitutions, investigating various types of injuries, various tools and techniques in forensic science.
The courses in the program are :
Introduction to Forensic Science, Forensic Dermatoglyphics, Criminal Law, Crime and Society, Criminalistics, Technological Methods in Forensic Science, Questioned Documents, Forensic Chemistry and Physics, Forensic Medicine, Forensic Biology & Serology along with basic sciences like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology and Pharmacology.
10 + 2 with Science Subjects (Physics, Chemistry Biology should be studied)
Work as forensic science specialist in government and private agencies, academics and research.

Chief Guest and delivered the Key Note Address while Inaugurating the National Level Workshop on “Forensic Speaker Identification” hosted by All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore.
Acted as Resource Person on Scientific Investigation and Vigilance at Administrative Training Institute, Government of Karnataka, Mysore for the Excise Dept. on 04-02-2009 and for Lokayuktha Police 12-03-2009.
Acted as Resource Person on “Investigation of Vigilance Cases” at the Administrative Training Institute, Mysore, (Depatment of DPAR, Govt. of Karnataka) for the State Excise and Commercial Taxes Departmeent, on behalf of Karnataka Lokayukta.
