M.Pharm - Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance
This course is designed to impart fundamental knowledge and concepts about various quality management principles and systems utilized in the manufacturing industry. It also aids in understanding the quality evaluation in the pharmaceutical industries. The Course teach the pupil, Quality evaluation of pharmaceuticals, Stability testing of drug and drug substances, Statistical approaches for quality, Understand the cGMP aspects in a pharmaceutical industry, the responsibilities of QA & QC departments, the new product development process, environmental problems among learners, Develop an attitude of concern for the industry environment, Hazard assessment, procedure, methodology for provide safe industrial atmosphere, concepts of calibration, qualification and validation on various equipments and instruments, Quality by design (QbD) and process analytical technology (PAT).

Pass in the following examinations
- B.Pharm Degree examinations in an Indian University established by law in India from an institution approved by PCI and has scored not less than 55% of maximum marks (aggregate of 4 years B.Pharm).
- Every student, selected for admission to post graduate pharmacy program in any PCI approved institution should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/her admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled.
- Selection Criteria Through Merit and written test/ personal interview.
After successful completion of PG in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, The graduates will be placed in * Research institutes as project assistants or research fellows.

He is faculty in the Department of Pharma Analysis, JSSCP, Ooty with 10 years of academic and research experience. His research areas includes Impurity profiling, Genotoxicity study and Synthesis of Impurities. He has completed his Ph.D in October 2015 from JSS University, Mysuru, Karnataka. He completed his PG and UG from Tamilnadu Dr.MGR Medical University. He has published his research work in various National & International journals. He has filled one Intellectual Property Rights. He presented papers in various national and international conferences and begged Best Oral Presentation award in various conferences. He delivered several guest lectures. He organized national level workshops and seminars. He is a reviewer and Editorial board member for many Journals. He is a life member in various professional bodies. His bibliography included in the Maquis Who’s Who in the world, his bibliography accepted in International Biographical Center Cambridge University London.
