The proposed course aims to provide students with a broad theoretical and practical background in Phytochemistry - knowledge concerned with drugs obtained from plants or other natural sources. The course discusses methods of extractions, qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques as per the standard regulatory guidelines. In thisĀ 1-year Full Time Course, professional attention is given to train candidates in handling and testing natural Phyto-pharmaceuticals and other natural products of industrial importance using analytical instruments (like Flash chromatography, HPLC, HPTLC, FTIR, UV-Visible, GC, etc) and acquaint students with the latest industrial trends as well as National or International standards organization.

He has more than 26 years of experience in Education & Training, Herbal research & Formulation and crude drug Testing. He has guided 6 PG students. He has published more than 31 scientific papers in peer reviewed international and national journals. He has experience in various functions in a protocol development, preparation of SOPs, execution of audits, review of study plans, reports and herbal drug formulations and its validation.
