This course designed to study infectious disease pathogenesis, diagnostics, immune system response, and computational vaccinology in order to convey information on the use of computer systems to investigate the immune system.
Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, it is expected that the students will be able to
- To understand the computational concepts of immunology
- To acquire expertise in specialized immunological methods to diagnose health related disorder.
- To provide knowledge and understanding of research methods employing immunological technique for application in biomedical and clinical research
- To educate the students about insilico deep learning to develop single to multi-epitope vaccines.

- Familiarize with the basics of cellular machinery of immune system
- Design vaccines by understanding the mechanism of the recognition of pathogen and its antigen
- Evaluate individual differences in diseases susceptibility through immunoinformatics tools
- Analyse and predict the epitope and antigen antibody interaction by acquainting the principles of immunology and immunoinformatics database and tools
