The One-Year M.Sc. Psychology programme is designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and practical competencies in the scientific study of human behaviour, cognition, and emotions. Recognizing the growing need for qualified psychology professionals across healthcare, education, corporate organizations, community services, and research institutions, the programme offers a comprehensive curriculum that integrates psychological theory with evidence-based practice.
The programme emphasizes the development of skills in psychological assessment, counselling, research methodology, and therapeutic interventions while fostering ethical practice, critical thinking, and professional competence. Through interdisciplinary learning and experiential training, students gain the ability to apply psychological principles to address individual, organizational, and societal challenges. It also serves as a strong foundation for higher education, including M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes, as well as careers in clinical, counselling, educational, organizational, and research psychology
