JSS Biorepository Center is a secure facility with multiple liquid nitrogen (LN2) tanks, -80 °C, and -20 °C freezers spanning 860 square foot facility for storing biological material, and their associated dataset for research and commercial purposes. Our biorepository aims to bank well-annotated clinical samples from patients to cater the requirements of researchers nationwide through standardized protocols. It is a facility for high-quality, standardized processing of samples that supports cutting-edge translational research, innovation in diagnostics, and the advancement of personalized medicine. JSSBC complies with ICMR National Ethical guidelines-2017 with respect to safety, universal standards, and testing of biomaterials.

JSS Biorepository Center is open to internal researchers (JSSAHER faculty, postgraduate, undergraduate students and PhD scholars) who are undertaking research projects and external collaborators (universities, research labs, biomedical companies).
