On behalf of World Ozone Day (September 16th), the Division of environmental science organized an awareness program on 20th September 2019 at Sri Shivakumara Swamiji High School Paravamipura to create awareness among school children about saving the environment they live in. Students from the first year and second year BSc performed street plays and mime about burning issues like hazardousness of single-use plastic, ozone hole depletion, and deforestation. An important message about the role of the individual in protecting the environment was conveyed beautifully by our students through street play and mime.
