An industrial visit to Shivanasamudra solar power plant was organized on the 20th of September 2019, by the division of Environmental science. 162 students from BSc and MSc surveyed the solar powerplant with about 35,840 solar panels. Students were given information about the technical aspects of solar power generation and supply. This particular solar power plant supplies power to half the Mysore, Kollegal, and other two Taluks.
