A 1 day international level second hands on Cadaveric Laryngotracheoplasty and Thyroplasty workshop in association with International College of Surgeons Indian Section 2019 was successfully organized for the second time by department of otorhinolaryngology and head and neck JSS hospital on 13th October 2019 at JSS Hospital.

The overwhelming response from consultants and PG from all over the country for the workshop was the encouragement which under able leadership and efficient utilisation of resources resulted in this dream come true.

The day started with a talk on anatomy of larynx by Dr. Krishna Murthy followed by talk on Narrow Band Imaging by Dr. Dinesh Sheshappa ,Lasers in ENT by Dr. Manjunath M K, and Management of Thyroid Malignancy by Dr. Azeem Moynudeen.

This was followed by Hands on training on Thyroplasty and Laryngeotracheoplasty by Dr. Bharathi M.B, Dr. Prakash B.G., Dr. Sandeep S, Dr. Babu A.R, Dr. Rakesh B.S, Dr. Shilpa C, Dr. Thanzeem and Dr. Amulya and the faculty.

Both residents and consultants who attended the workshop appreciated Dr.Bharathi MB and her team for their meticulous and thorough demonstration session.

The workshop concluded with high tea session and distribution of certificates to delegates.

Workshop also provided post graduates of the department not just an arena for acquiring knowledge but also an opportunity to develop their organising skills.
