The School of Public Health, JSS Medical College, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER) is delighted to welcome Dr. Chiara Logli, a Fulbright-Nehru Scholar from Honolulu Community College, Hawai?i, USA, who will be associated with us from 1 October 2026 to 2 May 2027. Dr. Logli is an Associate Professor and Institutional Assessment Specialist at Honolulu Community College, University of Hawaii, with extensive international experience in higher education, institutional assessment, quality and equity, and international and comparative education. Her academic journey has spanned the United States, Indonesia, and other international settings, including engagements with the East-West Center and USAID. During her Fulbright-Nehru engagement at JSS AHER, she will contribute to teaching, research, and academic collaboration, including qualitative research design. Her project, “Grounded Cosmopolitanism in Higher Education: Teaching, Research, and Quality Assurance in India,” explores how Indian universities balance local traditions and identities with global perspectives in higher education. Her presence brings an exciting opportunity for cross-cultural learning, knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary engagement, and strengthening global academic partnerships.
