JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty, had the distinct privilege of hosting Mr. Hemant Patel, Past President of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPS) and Past Member of the English Pharmacy Board, RPS, London, Great Britain, from 5–7 September 2026.

The visit was particularly significant in view of Mr. Patel’s nearly three-decade-long association with the institution as a collaborator, preceptor, mentor, and well-wisher. Over the years, this enduring professional relationship has contributed to the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and global perspectives in pharmacy education and practice and has served as a valuable foundation for international academic engagement.
