Recognizing the importance of promoting ethical research practices and maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, in association with Office of the Controller of Examinations organized an Onsite Interaction Programme (Turnitin) on ‘Academic Integrity in the World of Research’ on Tuesday, 28th July 2026, at 3.00 to 4:00 PM. The programme was organized to create awareness among faculty members about the significance of academic integrity in research and scholarly publishing. The session focused on understanding plagiarism and its impact on academic institutions, while highlighting the role of Turnitin in promoting originality and responsible academic writing. The interaction programme provided participants with practical knowledge on Plagiarism and its impact on academic institutions, Turnitin's similarity check features, Student paper submission and review process, Generating and interpreting similarity reports, AI writing detection & analysis and Downloading and analysing the reports. The programme concluded with an interactive Q&A session, enabling participants to clarify their queries and strengthen their understanding of effective use of Turnitin in research and academic writing.
