We, the Department of Medical Genetics, are proud to share that on July 11, 2026, we successfully conducted the second session of our specialised Neuromuscular Clinic here at the JSS Hospital Building. On the heels of our second clinic, it was another inspiring day of comprehensive, multidisciplinary care, during which we had the privilege of supporting four patients and their families. The clinic's continued progress was honoured by the encouraging presence of our esteemed Principal, Dr Narayanappa D., alongside Dr Akila Prashant (Head of Biochemistry and Convener of the Genetics Department), who joined us to support the growth of this vital initiative. At JSS Hospital, we believe that providing holistic care for complex neuromuscular conditions requires a dedicated, collaborative ecosystem.
