A general medical checkup, blood donation camp was organized jointly with the Red Cross society, Government headquarters hospital, Ooty and Blood Donors club of JSS college of Pharmacy ooty. About 50 NSS volunteers took part in the event and donated blood. The initiative serves as a vital effort to support local blood banks and participants were sensitized on the importance of blood donation and how it benefits all by doing so, an awareness was created among the volunteers. The camp was been inaugurated by the Vice Principal of the college Dr.K.P.Arun, Dr.Sharmila and Dr.Akshaya.
