World Environment Day was observed on 5th June 2026 at JSS Medical College, Mysuru, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable practices. To mark the occasion, a sapling plantation program was organized within the college campus. The event was highlighted by the planting of a Mahogany sapling by the respected Vice Principal Dr.Suma M.N., and Administrative Officer Mr S.R.Satish Chandra, of JSSMC, symbolizing the institution’s commitment towards a greener and healthier environment. The program was successfully coordinated by Dr.Manu G, Mr.Manjunatha H.N., and Mr.Venkatesha, NSS Program Officers, whose efforts ensured the smooth conduct of the event. This initiative served as a reminder of our collective responsibility to protect and nurture the environment for future generations.
