The Department of Periodontology, JSS Dental College & Hospital, Mysuru, in association with Curaden, successfully conducted the iTOP Recall Program (Individually Trained Oral Prophylaxis) on 30th May 2026 at the Department Seminar Room

The programme aimed to reinforce the principles of preventive oral healthcare and individualized oral hygiene training. The session commenced with a lecture from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by an interactive hands-on training session demonstrating evidence-based oral prophylaxis techniques and effective oral hygiene practices

The resource persons for the programme were Dr. Ashwin P. S., iTOP Educator and Education Consultant, Curaden India, and Dr. Aniruddha K. B., iTOP Tutor. The sessions were highly informative, interactive, and clinically relevant, providing participants with practical insights into preventive dentistry and patient-centered oral hygiene education

Approximately 25 participants, including postgraduate students and faculty members, attended the programme. The event was well received and appreciated by the participants, particularly for its practical approach to preventive dentistry, oral health promotion, and patient motivation techniques
