In observance of World Autism Day 2026 on 2nd April 2026, the Department of Clinical Psychology, JSS Medical College had organized an awareness program for Trainees of MA Clinical Psychology and PDCP. The students have actively participated in a debate on the pros and cons of Applied Behaviour Analysis(ABA) therapy, which was thoughtfully moderated by the faculty. The session concluded with an insightful talk by the faculty highlighting the importance of Neurodiverse-affirming ABA, emphasizing a more inclusive and respectful approach in clinical practice towards persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
