The JSS Dental College & Hospital, Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, organized a Face Painting Competition on 16th February 2026 as part of the celebrations for Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics Day. The theme for the event, “Dentistry Related to Nature,” inspired students to creatively merge dental science with elements of nature through vibrant and imaginative face art

BDS students from the 1st, 3rd, and 4th years enthusiastically participated, presenting innovative concepts that beautifully reflected the harmony between oral health and the natural environment. The event was guided by Dr. Vinutha Manjunath and Dr. Priya, with active support from postgraduate students Dr. Hamsini, Dr. Najmu, and Dr. Aahna

The competition was judged by Dr. Sunitha and Dr. Shreeshyla, who appreciated the students’ creativity, artistic skills, and conceptual interpretation of the theme. The results will be announced on 5th March 2026 during the main celebration at JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research

The event served as a vibrant platform to encourage artistic expression while reinforcing awareness about the connection between dentistry and nature
