Mr Yogeesh Maheshwarappa, Tutor and Ph.D Scholar, Department of Microbiology was awarded First Prize in Oral Presentation titled “Susceptibility Patterns of Multidrug-Resistant Gram-Negative Pathogens Causing Sepsis and Respiratory Tract Infections to Newer ß-Lactam Antibiotics” at the National Conference on “Antimicrobial Resistance: One Health Approach”, held on 9th December 2025 at Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences, Virajpet. The work was carried out under the guidance of Dr M. N. Sumana, Professor of Microbiology, JSS Medical College and Hospital, Mysuru.
