The Department of Pharmacology, JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, in collaboration with the Indian Pharmacological Society (IPS), Mysuru Local Chapter, organised the 1st National Pharmacology Day – 2025 on 18th August 2025 at the Golden Jubilee Digital Theatre, JSSCPM. The event was held to commemorate the birth anniversary of Shri Ram Nath Chopra, the Father of Indian Pharmacology, and brought together faculty, students, and eminent pharmacologists to celebrate the discipline and its contributions to healthcare and research.The programme commenced at 2:00 PM with the assembly of dignitaries, faculty members, and students. The gathering reflected both enthusiasm and reverence as it honoured the legacy of Dr. Chopra. An invocation marked the formal beginning of the event, followed by a welcome address from Dr. K. L. Krishna, Executive Committee Member (South), IPS, who highlighted the purpose of National Pharmacology Day and its role in uniting pharmacologists, researchers, and students across the country.
